Behind the Wall
During the trump administration t a number of foreigners austerity measures have been installed to reduce immigration. This aggressive foreign policy were especially targeted neighbouring countries such as Cuba and Mexico. The trump administration haven't tried to hide the very negative view towards these countries. As the western leader this sets the bar for how these countries are to be perceived in the western world. Amongst other things, this extreme negative view, hate, were being manifested through a desire of building the very infamous wall. A giant construction with the underlying purpose of sending a clear message. These two neighboring countries (Cuba and Mexico) each have structural problems, which is not to be neglected. But this series seeks to explore the everyday life in these two countries, with the focus on the everyday people, not the gangster or the oppressor, but the primary population that only seeks to live their best life, in the framework their given, as in any other country.
